The smart product is easy to install and by connecting to your WiFi network, it can send you alerts about intruders wherever you are. The XCOAST door and window alarm can be easily installed on doors and windows using the included adhesive strip without damaging the frame. Make sure that the installation location is within your WLAN network so that you can integrate the device and have alarm messages sent in addition to the acoustic signal. The door window sensor is controlled via the Smart Life app, which is available for both Android and iOS devices. You can easily integrate the sensor into your smart home system and control it with voice commands via Alexa or Google Home. NOTE: Only supports 2.4GHz. The XCOAST HomeGuard consists of 2 parts: A WLAN-enabled sensor with an alarm siren and a magnetic strip. These are installed directly next to each other on closed doors or windows. One element sits on the door or window, one right next to it on the frame or wall. As soon as the distance between the alarm sensor and the magnetic stripe becomes too great (i.e. when opening), the acoustic alarm sounds to deter potential intruders and to alert you to unauthorized opening. At the same time, the device sends a message to your mobile phone via your WLAN network (via the Smart Life app), so that you are informed of the intrusion even when you are not on site.

Effective protection thanks to a loud alarm signal and push notification: as soon as an armed door is opened, the 110dB siren sounds to warn you and discourage the intruder from his intentions. Additionally, even if you are not on site at that moment, you will be alerted via the Smart Life app on your smartphone via a message so that you can take action. Batteries: Your XCOAST sensor is battery operated, so there are no messy cables or complicated electrical installations required. The device uses 2*AAA batteries (not included in the scope of delivery), which are changed about once a year depending on the intensity of use. The device will inform you via the app when the batteries are low. Manual ON/OFF switch on the sensor: In addition to control via the Smart Life app, the sensor can also be activated or deactivated manually. If necessary, you can switch the device on or off quickly and conveniently at the push of a button, even if no Internet is available. Note: Do not attach the magnetic strip to metal door frames as this may affect functionality. Attention: This device helps to increase the security in your home.
